Our wedding story : a dreamy place

Hi everyone! I am happy to show you more pictures of our amazing wedding venue. We had quite a few options to choose from when we decided to get married : castle, barn, tent, garden... But as we started thinking about it, we were absolutely sure that we wanted to have everyone staying for three all days and we definitely needed accomodation. We also knew that we wanted a winter, snowy wedding. These two criteas narrowed our field to "a barn or cabin in the moutains", and we loved the idea of something unique, festive, romantic and yet fun. We visited quite a few places and finally discovered- after a long walk- Le gîte du Passant. We just fell in love. It was perfect and big enough to have our friends and families staying over.

Since the place definitely was beautiful enough on its own, we decided to have not too much decor going on. We had gypsophylia, white carnation, eucalyptus and white broom table centers. We added gorgeous white quartz geodes and these stunning diy candle holders : my grandma knitted the "socks" for it and we glued cork wood trims on around the top. Ropes, vintage silver candle holders and silver ivy finished our decor.
We made all of it ourselves, helped by our families and friends. We can't thank them enough, as well as the amazing gîte team!
In the room, we also had a few decor highlights : a hot chocolate bar and photography station, a cosy place we decorated with our own cushions and handiras wedding blankets we brought back from Morocco. We loved the idea of mixing rustic, boho and ethnical vibes! We couldn't be happier with the result and are so grateful that we got to marry in such a beautiful environment <3
