Origami

OCTOBER 10, 2016

I got a new haircut! This was definitely much needed. Nothing too spectacular though, very soft highlights and a classic, easy to style cut are exactly what I like :) Holidays are not very far from now and I can't wait to rest a bit from busy school days.
I am also very happy to show you the latest creation of my talented friend Morena - remember her brand Fuscra and her gorgeous wooden bags (here and here)? She came out with a very special idea of eco recycled leather bags and home goodies, and as always her design with geometric patterns is perfect! I really loved the concept and these bags have such an interesting texture and style. Just as her wooden bags, these one reflect her passion for nature and I truly feel like wearing a sculpture, a piece of art! I wanted to wear this beige one with a fun autumn outfit full of different textures and patterns such as leather, lace, animal prints, to create a deep contrast. I hope you like it as much as I do :D

I can't believe I still have looks from Paris to show you! Well, summer holidays and first month as a teacher has gone so fast, I do my best to keep the blog up,  even more since as many of my fellow bloggers may have noticed, Instagram (sadly, although I quite like it) is tending to drive viewers away from websites... But no worries, I definitely want to keep it going!
Now on to the look: Can we take a minute to appreciate how stunning that blue macrame skirt is? It is surprisingly so easy to wear in a casual way , just tucking a top in ant throwing a bag on the shoulder! I especially love that blue tint, I wanted to play with contrasts and texture by adding that snake printed scarf. And you, what do you  think? :)

I hope you are all doing well girls! Fall has officially started but the sky decided to say otherwise, as we still had 26°C yesterday afternoon, which definitely did not help me stay at home and work... and I have still some summery outfits to show you! just add a cardigan and swap the sandals for some flats and loafers, this look would be just perfect in the mornings ;) This is one of my most loved and worn dresses from this summer! The silk fabric and lovely embroidery makes it so comfortable to wear and gives that sophisticated touch I can't get enough of. I decided to wear a belt to define the silhouette and my favorite purchase from Morocco, this pretty handbag for an ethnic feel, especially associated with the embroideries. What do you think? ^^
