Ginko

One of the things I love the most about my hometown Strasbourg is the nature everywhere. The whole city is planted with gorgeous trees with seasonal features. Blooming magnolias, plum trees, cherry trees in spring, fragrant trees in summer and red maple trees or yellow ginkos in autumn. The vibe changes throughout seasons and makes me excited for each time of the year!

Bones

Hello everyone! A few pictures from my visit at the parisian paleontology gallery, a gorgeous building located in the Jardin des Plantes filled with stunning dinosaurs skeletons and fossils. One of the most interesting places to see in Paris, and yet not very crowded as so many other museums. A perfect place to visit in autumn as well!

70's print

This 70's paisley print dress is such a show-stopper! I couldn't resist this drapé effect and this soft fabric. Such a fun yet quite sophisticated dress for springtime!

Petals

This is definitely the most romantic view in my city, Strasbourg. Such an enchanting spot! Blossoms landing on the stream, people reading litterature or kissing under the branches... One always feels a lot better after and hour hanging out here!

Spring uniform

White jeans have become my absolute favorite to wear for chillier spring time days. Paired with a little blouse or printed crop top, they elongate the legs, are super comfy yet look quite polished. I've been wearing these non stop at work as well as off-duty! I also own a pair of wide-leg ones but definitely find the skinnies a lot more flattering for me. What do you girls think? :)

Babydoll flow

More trees in bloom, more floral prints! I seriously LOVE this time of year, so full of positive vibes and projects. Winter can be quite long in northern parts of the world, so the rebirth of nature almost feels like a break free! This year, I definitely went full romantic in my clothing style : Babydoll, frills, ruffles, colorful...

Crop top case

Crop tops have been HUGE these past three years. As soon as the weather allows to show a little more skin, bellies are out! I've hardly ever dared to wear these kind of garments, perhaps due to the fact that it seemed more appropriate on teenage girls than on a thirty-year-old teacher. Of course, I wouldn't include it in my work attire but I decided to give it a try while being off-duty. I felt a lot more comfortable pairing it with high rise bottoms and a lnog trench coat to balance it out. My top also features a tie-and-dye print, which I find quite cool for spring time! Well, what is your opinion on such tops?

Magnolias

Magnolias... such perfect, beautiful trees! Their shapes, smell, colors, I love everything about them and could'nt resist taking TONS of pictures in front of them! Bloomins season will last longer on my Instagram feed :p

Silk

I have quite a soft spot for silk fabrics. So comfortable, incredibly soft, helping maintaining the perfect temperature, they definitely are my favorites! I do like to pair them with "rougher", thicker materials such as chuncky knits and leather to balance out the outfit.

Chiquito

Spring is finally here! And it started just on point for my holydays. We are so lucky here in Strasbourg to have so many amazing blooming trees, The whole city is buzzing with sweet bees while the air is filled with the sent of magnolias and cherry blossoms.

Rohan

Even after so many years in my hometown Strasbourg, I still manage to find some amazing places I tend to overlook when crossing the busy downtown. It's just crazy how quite and early sunday mornings show the city from a different perspective, empty of all people. To be honest, this was one of the good sides of lockdown for this little introvert. calm. peace. Noone outside... Am I the only one feeling that way?

White Jacquemus

Jacquemus bags. Their designs are so unique, I could get every single one of them. I really do love a bag that looks like a little sculpture, and when Jacquemus came up with a medium size for the Chiquito, I decided it would make a perfect end-of-semester gift. This is the perfect size in which I can actually fit more than a lipstick! Not owning any white bag and often thinking such a color was lacking in my collection, I got my mind set on this little beauty.

I put together this outfit also starring one of my latest obsessions, wide shoulder outfits. Some might think such a silhouette would look quite masculine but as long as the waistline is defined, the overall structure feels quite balanced and feminine!

After the rain

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I took advantage of a few hours without rain here in Strasbourg to take these pictures. Man I can't tell you how much I long for a nice, sunny springtime!

I was wearing this amazing embroidered silk sweatshirt by Isabel Marant, preloved. I recently really got into second hand designer items, I never mind them being from previous collections. As for handbags, who cares if these are discontinued lines as long as you love the design? The urge of always buying something brand new and toss it once the trend has died or once a new collection replaces an old one really isn't for me anymore... Do you feel the same?

Origami please !

I'm very happy to present you with another gorgeous creation by my friend Morena's new collection, this amazing FUSCRA origami top made in Italy! Morena creates unique designs, I have already been honored to share her stunning eco leather and wooden bags in the past. This time, I am even more honored to feature tis belt!
This top-looking belt is composed of numerous layers of pleated organza. It is easy to wear as a top over tuxedo pants, to create a unique silhouette that would be absolutely perfect for a party! I hope you will like it! :)

Balade sur les quais

Only a week before my holidays! I just can't wait to have some more me-time and relax, enjoying some delicious winter food... One of my main self-care routine is to try to go out for simple strolls without a definite aim. I tend to get out only to do some grocery shopping or run errands but hardly ever to enjoy my time out.

And you, what are your self-care tips?

Maxi knit

When temperatures start to seriously drop here in Alsace, I rush to my trusted knit dresses worn with thick tights and boots. I find them incredibly comfy yet elegant, perfect from day to night.

This new maxi knit dress is a dream to wear, soft and warm. I wanted to twist it up a bit by adding a vintage find, this bomber jacket with faux fur lining for extra warmth. Going further with the vintage vibes, I decided to wear my grandma's purse to balance out the casual/elegant tones.

Red suede boots

Hello everyone! Who said Jeans & sweaters were a boring outfit choice? I am so obsessed with cute, soft sweaters at the moment, and I do like to spice things up with fun accessories and boots. These dark red ones are my favorites as yet, The heel height is perfect and matches my new bag. What do you guys think?

That top

Happy 2022 everyone! I hope you all had an amazing start of the year. Mine didn't start that weel, I got ill with covid and found out a few hours before NYE party. I ended up catching a glimpse of fireworks from my little window and ordering food while watching Netflix. Hurray.

Anyway, I do hope things will get better soon! I always find a little sad to wear party clothes only for a few occasions and wondered how I could wear my favorite party belt/top from my Friend Fuscra on a dressier day. I came up with the idea of wearing it over a casual white shirt with cute shorts and over the knee boots. What do you guys think?

La bibliothèque

I always find a little sad in a way to be able to wear my favorite summer clothes only between june and september (hello Alsace weather), I recently tried to wear them in a more chilly temperatures appropriate way!

As I mentionned in my last post, I enjoy the "long dress - high boots" trend so much. This makes my flowy fabrics so much warmer and create a nice contrast in textures. Throw over a nice cosy sweater and there you have it! A perfect winter outfit featuring a summery dress.

Little red house

It's already December! Today marks the start of advent, which is one of my favorite season. I find all the festive ambiance so fun and cosy, I can't wait to go gift hunting for my beloved ones.

I am right now obsessed with longer wrap dresses over knee-high boots or cuissardes, they not only keep me warm but really do look incredibly stylish. What do you thing of this style?
