Private Christmas

Today Maxime and I decided to have our little Christmas meal all by ourselves at home, and I wanted to share the recipe of the main course, in case you still don't know what to cook for new year's eve dinner! :) Actually I am going to cook chicken with cider, (the recipe is already on this blog) and as a first course, goat cheese in pears, which I will post later. Hope you'll enjoy this ;)

Little traveller

I can't tell you how excited I feel since I got a week in Greece as Christmas present from Maxime, my boyfriend! He is so sweet, I love to discover new places! It feels like an adventure, I have not traveled that much. I've never been out of Europe actually, I'd love to go to United states, to Japan, to India... I'm really interested in different cultures, architectures, landscapes, people, cuisine, and I hope that one day I would be able to see all these beautiful places.
But now I'm looking forward to this travel, we are only going there in June, but I'm reading many articles on the places to see, and what food to try! I wanted to show on a picture my today's pinky mood, with this pretty notebook (I love to have a diary when I go somewhere!), this beautiful watch I got for my birthday, and this delicate Hermès perfume, Rose Ikebana. I'm a great admirer of Hermès, it means exactly "chic travel" to me.

Everyday eye makeup

Have you ever noticed that I have dark green eyes? I guess not, they always look brown on pictures, people usually see it on close-ups and in full light. This kind of bothers me, because I like my green! I try to make it stand out with makeup tricks that I learned on the Internet, like using purple and rose eyeshadows.
On an every day basis, I first apply a concealer, than my purple eyeshadow from Sephora on the lid, than a light beige in the inner corner of my eye and under my eyebrow to put some light. I draw a line with a khôl pencil that I blend, which is why it looks more gray than black. I put a little purple eye pencil on my waterline, I curl my lashes, I apply my mascara, and I'm ready to go!
